The plants have come back stomping in the decoration of our houses. More and more we are interested in the care of our favorite plants and we take care of each of the plants that we have strategically placed throughout the house. There are even more and more those who present their plants through social networks, each one baptized with a name, but Malin Samuelsson would need a more than long list to name each of those who live in his Gothenburg apartment.

Cactus at the entrance, climbers in the living room, monstera reigning on each shelf and furniture in the common areas and alocasia zebrina for the bedroom among others, are the plants that can be found in this apartment built in 1929.

If someone knows how to decorate a house 50% plants, 50% objects and furniture that is her.

Malin has worked as a chef for the past 10 years but now goes back to study to be able to devote himself to decoration, "as an art director or as a stylist," he says. Of course, he does not want to leave the kitchen, so among his projects is to create, together with his friend and designer Emeli Höcks, a vegetarian food club where the design will not be missing in any way.

In the common rooms the white reigns (in addition to the plants, of course) both on walls and on the sofa that ends up merging and is complemented with cushions of different gray-colored linen with hair blankets. East look scruffy still in line with modern iron furniture painted black along with furniture vintage of weathered wood.

The pictures with phrases and photographs that occupy the walls of the room follow the trend of black and white. He tells us that his furniture is some of IKEA and others acquired in stores vintage secondhand.

The kitchen is completely charming and we love every detail, like the dishes vintage and that seems handmade or with the textiles that do not go out of the chromatic range that we are finding throughout the whole house: white, green, black and wood.

The bedroom breaks with its walls painted black, that somewhat risky trend for some is very photogenic when decorating with details in white, gray and earth tones.

Furniture vintage of wood, together with the textiles of the bed where it mixes linen fabrics without ironing with a knitted blanket, form the perfect print for the cold season that we are slowly reaching.

Malin tells us that he has recently moved to Stockholm together with his partner, where he will decorate his new apartment following his line and promises to come back stomping on his Instagram account. We will be happy to discover the new universe you will create!
